Then again, I'm not really expecting anyone to excel next week (maybe Chris)...the best word I can think of for Freddie Mercury is "inimitable."

sadly, based on last night, it makes sense for Mandisa to go over Ace and Bucky. Mandisa was all over the place pitch-wise and Ace and Bucky were both on-key. They also seemed to feel their songs more than Mandisa did (Ace actually avoided being smarmy for once). I'm sorry, but i gotta agree with America at least for country night. Now, regarding the whole show, Ace and Bucky should have left a long time ago and Mandisa should have gotten a second chance.

One of my commenters opined that quite possibly a lot of people who liked people like Paris and Mandisa didn't bother even watching last night because they don't like country music.
That would go a long way toward explaining this result.
Let's just pray to all the gods and goddesses that either Kellie or Ace is destroyed next week.

I think that the American public, hit the nail on the head. They picked the worst to go home. Some people just cannot sing country, but bucky on the other hand, now he can sing country, rock, r & b, whatever. That's talent

Whoever was in charge of dressing the contestants (wardrobe) doomed Mandisa. The outfit she wore was horrible, it looked like a circus tent. She has a great voice but America just couldn't get past that eyesore on stage, it was an embarrassment.
