Mario Vasquez on Letterman

Mario did a Top Ten sequence last night on David Letterman.
Top Ten Reasons I quit ‘American Idol’
10: "Well, for starters, I was really, really drunk.9: "I've got my eye on the ultimate prize: 'Belgium Idol'”
8: "Yeah, my career's over, but I just saved a bundle on my car insurance."
7: "After seeing Michael Jackson, maybe I don't want to be a pop star."
6: "Ryan Seacrest is all hands."
5: "I started liking when Ryan Seacrest was all hands."
4. "Screw it -- I'm quitting this, too."
Vazquez then abruptly discontinued the countdown and left the show without finishing, playing up his claim to incomplete fame for laughs. - ABC
The only reason why mario quit is coz he was afraid of coming out to the public. guess anyone in their right sense would prefer to be secretely gay than be open about it. He must have known that the public eye would have seen that he is gay sooner or later. Its sad that even now people cant be who they are coz they arent gonna be accepted.
The 5th and 6th points are just hints. Every gay guy does that and its upto the other person to know what these hints are. All closeted guys want to tell who they really are but just cant and hence you get hints like the ones above. I guess he couldnt do what Jim Verraros did. Its not an easy task. I'd say let the poor chat be and let him live his life in peace. he chose not to continue so he could lead the life he wants to. Any smart person would Have done that.
Mario you are a cool guy and i hope that you have a good life.
Tho i think mario should just tell the public the truth himself and the rumors bout him will disappear ... in anycase he's not competing for AI now.

even if he was gay, does that make him amy less of a performer? does that mean that he can not sing his heart out? yes you are right it is hard for people to admit what they are even today, bnut that is becuase people like yourself are not willing to understand. How can you make a comment like 'anyone in their right sense would rather be secretly gay than out about it.' I am gay, and i am not afraid of who I am or who I love. Your comments were rude, selfish , and inconsiderate. Mario, if you are gay, be proud of who you are, you have a beautiful voice and are a beautiful person. Always above all stay true to yourself.

This is really stupid and i don't believe any of it.Mario Vasquez didn't say that and i think he just didn't want to be part of American Idol after he saw what happend to the winners.You notice you don't hear very much about the winners nowa days?i think it was a very wise decision.

And i really don't think he is gay and that everyone is making it up because from first appearance he may seem gay to some people.He's just a normal person, and you seem very gay for doing this to him.You should just stop.Your being childish.
