Idol 2/8
By Tanya
Anthony Federov's voice is so pure. I'd hate to see him relegated to doing top 40, but I guess it's better than nothing.
How lame do you have to be to get on a tour bus instead of the audition bus? And stay on it thru the whole tour?
Yeah, that Ross guy. I do like the redhead crooners. He's not as cute as John Stevens, but at least he's legal.
If that Mulfetta guy had made it, I might have had to boycott. He sounds like a South Park reject.
Nadia rocks. And Scott and Anwar (also very cute).
{The OC "redefined a generation?" That's just sad. A whole generation of badly-dressed sluts who can't act.}
Farmboy needs to stop touching his belly.
I like Constantine, but I like Aaron Kelly better.
I like the hell out of Mikalah, even if she is obnoxious. She has an awesome voice and balls of steel for her age.
I'm glad that whiny chick decided to go home on her own. I was sick of her shit after the first "waaaaaaaaaaa." I understand being homesick, but cowboy up or shut up, wuss.

you liked john stevens? my gawd, not only was he a horrible pop singer, but he wasn't that good of a crooner, either! he hit one note, and sang all the words to that one freakin note. he was soooo damned monotone. i swear, listening to him was like, being stuck at an insurance convention.... ZZZZZZZZZZZ *snore*
and the whiny bitch who quit? dude, she's been apart from her kid for a day. or two. hello, drama queen. the bitch makes it to the second day, and she's still hanging around in the audience, probably for some more camera time. and yanno, it would surprise me if she quit for the following reasons (other than missing her kid): 1) she's afraid to be cut. 2) by bowing out now, she can say that she was the first person to quit Idol. also, she gets to say that she wasn't cut - sorta like breaking up with someone before they break up with you. basically, i think she just caved, and is using the "i miss my boy" thing as an excuse.
and YEAHHHHH joelle and i also noticed that farmboy was playing with himself while he sang.

she gets to say that she wasn't cut
I wasn't sure how to word that, but I was thinking the exact same thing when she did it. She convinced herself that she was going to be cut in the next round, and decided to pity her way out, instead. Wuss.
I don't think John Stevens was right for American Idol, but I would totally buy his CD. He did fine when he got to pick his own songs and didn't get too nervous. And I did think he was cute, in that ewwww-he's-young-enough-to-be-my-son kind of way.

Well, she totally deserved cutting. That lackadaisical performance was pathetic. I believe she got through on how long her legs were.
