A PSA
By Michele
ATTENTION:
PLEASE STOP LYING TO YOUR FAMILY ABOUT THEIR SINGING TALENTS, AMERICA!
It makes the baby jeebus cry.
YES! During commercial break chatter, I told my sister that either these people need new friends, or the ones they have are tone deaf. How could you encourage your best friend who can't sing to go on AI and make a total fool of herself? The stunned looks on their faces when they're told they can't sing is actually quite sad in some cases.

But my 2nd grade teacher said I had the voice of an ANGEL! God put me on this Earth to sing and win American Idol. I have the look and I have the voice America wants to hear!!!11

I have to think that there are scores of people who actually sing well- that they just don't show. REally, even some of the people who make it have amazingly unremarkable voices. They really make it seem as if the good singers "out there" are line the grain of salt, in a pile of sand.

That was so gay. I think it was a set up and they knew each other already from some Dungeons and Dragons convention.

Families, just families?...Paula is one of the worst out there. I mean seriously, has she ever voted no. Randy's almost just as bad this year.
