Did you guys see this revisionist Pedro quote at the end of this article in the Daily News?

It was pretty clear to me (lip reading) that Pedro pointed to his head and actually said I'll hit you right here.

I hate this revisionist crap.

Its a nice thought isn't it? He's got to bat against us at some point. I'd really like to see if they test if he can take what he dishes out...

You can't be serious. Granted that Bill Simmons writes about Boston sports and Boston sports only, you've got hacks like David Schoenfeld writing articles titled "86 resons to hate the Red Sox" and Dan Shanoff who couldn't be any more Pro- Yanks and anti-Sox writing the Daily Quickie EVERY DAY.

I was on another message board a while back, and this was actually discussed- It's called HMP (Hostile Media Phenomena). What happens is two people who oppose two different teams (Sox-Yanks is a perfect example) can read the exact same article and both say that is is biased against their team. I'm sure this has been going on since the beginning of sports writing...
