I saw Turk a couple of times in the theatre during my lonely college days. It was a pretty good movie. However, The Sure Thing will never compare to Better Off Dead.
I'm willing to acknowledge that movie's existence, but that's about it. I believe the plot involved a union, a guy with an aerosol fetish, and some sort of lightshow ending that got ripped off by The Natural a few years later.
I think I might have seen it on cable some time when I should have been asleep. Just like Streets of Fire.
I'm still scarred by the unseemly image of Willem Dafoe in a leather adult diaper/overalls hybrid.

I loved that movie. I don't think I could even tell you how many times I watched it.

Does "The Sure Thing" count? As I get older more and more people seem to forget this movie.
Go on ask anyone to name a Cusack movie and they might name "Better Off Dead" as a cult classic, but most start with "Say Anything" and go forward

Never saw Turk 182, but you know how I loves me that Interstate 60.

Ahhh, yes...that oh-so-strange combination of Timothy Hutton and spray paint.
For some reason, I always get this one and The Falcon and the Snowman mixed up in my head. Go figger.
