It's been a while since I offered you up some quality music. Here's a few tunes for a a gray, wet weekend. Which it is here. Your mileage may vary.
Brand New - Sacco Amaretto Lime (download)
Taking Back Sunday - Slow Dance on the Inside (download)
By request.
Hayden - Bad as They Seem (download)
Led Zeppelin - The Rain Song (download)
Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine - She Hates Me (download)
If you download and listen, give a little thumbs up/down in the comments.

Love Zep, but "Rain Song" strays a bit too far into Faggytown in my opinion.
How about adding "Fuck Like a Beast" in honor of Bush getting another SC vacancy?

Michele, my little Rio Karma loves you. :)
Brand New and Taking Back Sunday - love both songs. Good choice for the day. They match my mood perfectly.
Hayden - new one for me. Almost had a Crash Test Dummies quality to it. Again, perfect mood music.
Led Zep - so glad I'm not the only one that matches my music to my mood! Nice orchestration on this one. I can't believe I hadn't heard it before.
Absolutely adore anything by Richard Cheese and just hearing him sing "she fuckin' hates me" cheered me up immensely.
You rock!

Just in case I haven't told you in a while, you freaking rock Michele. I am so buying advertising on your site next month.

Soco Amaretto Lime is appropriately lugubrious.
Slow Dance Sunday is not.
Bad as They Seem while lugubrious just doesn't strike an emotional cord with me.
The Rain Song - loved it in high school, but listening to it now makes me feel like I'm stuck in a Rock N' Roll Museum now.
She Hates Me - too jaunty for today. Sorry, but just can't listen to anything upbeat right now. On a different day, I'd enjoy it & it almost gave me a smile today, so guess that gives it a thumbs up.

Thanks for posting the Hayden song - it's been ages since I've heard it.
My sister has a picture of her and Hayden from one of the times he played in my small, Southern Ontario hometown - it was a great concert by all accounts.

So much thank you for the Led Zep Rain Song. After I downloaded the Live8 "Comfortably Numb" I had the functionary who recommended it shot. Too much pain in the ears!
