Great Scott!
Ach! We've got to get out of this trap
Before this decadence saps our wills
I've got to be strong and try to hang on
Or else my mind, may well snap
And my life will be lived
For the thrills

My wife and I went every Saturday night when we were dating back in high school, so allow me:
Ach! We've got to get [the fuck] out of this trap
Before this decadence [yay, decadence!] saps our wills
I've got to be strong [like a rubber] and try to hang on [like a good rubber]
Or else my mind, may well snap [like a bad rubber]
And my life will be lived [it's a living rubber!]
For the thrills [it's a thrilling rubber!]

I guess I should also write, "Dr. Scott - suck my cock!"

Monterey, California, 1979. The 'Pillow Theater' on Cannery Row played Rocky Horror every night as a 10pm show. Place was pretty small, and no seats - just several rows of large throw pillows, and thickly padded carpet.
They didn't let folks throw toast, or bring in squirt guns, but the rest of the lines were mandatory. On a couple of occaisions, there was more action on the floor than on the screen.
Seem to recall there was a fire sometime that summer, and they moved the RHPS to another area theater named the Dream - but they only showed it once on the weekend.
Probably saw the show around 20 or 25 times at the Pillow...only saw it once at the Dream. Wasn't the same...lot less fun.

We saw it every Friday at midnight and Sunday at 2pm at the Mini Cinema in Uniondale, Long Island. Some of the best times of my life were spent in that movie theater talking back to the screen.

Not to quibble or anything, but The Man Who Had No Neck was the criminologist. Played by the guy who was Blofeld in, I believe, Diamonds Are Forever.

Chuckie Grey!
He's OK!
He's got no fuckin' neck!
UNH! (pumped-fist salute)
[Grey died several years ago, didn't he?]
I like the last paragraph in the linked writeup/obit...hernia surgery from over-dancing to Lehrer's Masochism Tango. Heh.
