With your recent dental/pain woes, I was (I confess) a bit worried that you might ... but you didn't! :)
Huzzah! Congratulations!

Crap - Rob beat me to it. I love that movie. And congrats on the smoking thing! I was a militant anti-smoker for about 6 months after quitting. Every other smoker in the office hated me, and I eventually decided to live and let live.

The day we stop playing is the day we start getting old. Start watching the clock. Waiting for the days to hurry up and end. Counting the years.

At first, I was all, "Oh yeah, Twilight Zone," then I was, "Wait, Twilight Zone?" Then I realized I was thinking of Cat's Eye (I think - damn, now I've got two movies to watch).
Oh yeah, congratulations and stuff. Wifey just celebrated 7 years smoke-free. The bad news is she still gets serious cravings a few times a year. The good news is she doesn't barf up lung chunx like she used to. And then there's the money issue (!).
Good on ya.

I'm still smoking..sigh... how long does the suffering last, and is it easier after 5 months? I just don't know if I have the stamina to suffer withdrawl of nicotine and a habit I've had for over 20 years for a long time. any advice would help!
thanks!

No small achievement - you should be proud of yourself.

Congratulations! You will never regret it. You may miss it but not regret it.

You will become militant, the first time you are around so much smoke it makes you physically ill. Smoke free for over 4 years..
