Sunny Days....

I am on the hugest Sesame Street bender, thanks to that link from last night.

I have something HUGE coming up later. Well, huge, if you're really into Sesame Street and nostalgia and reliving your (or your kid's) youth as well as polls and silly songs and making lists. HUGE, I tell you. But that's later, after lunch.

I did find this while doing research for the HUGE ASS Sesame Street thing.

Which Sesame Street Muppet Are You?

So, if you have ANY Sesame Street links - lyrics, lists of characters, skits, sounds, pictures, any kind of lists of who appeared on the show or lists of songs, anything like that at all, please leave them in the comments. Thanks.

Oh, were there any other Sesame movies besides Follow That Bird and Elmo in Grouchland?

Ok...you can help me out here, too. I'm trying to come up with categories for Sesame Street related list making thingiemabobs. This is what I have so far:

  • Best Sesame muppet.
  • Best cartoon skit song
  • Best song sung my Muppets
  • Best skit
  • Best human character
  • Best parody song
  • Best celebrity guest
  • Best recurring character using a regular Muppet (i.e., Grover as Super Grover, Cookie Monster as Alistaire Cookie)

Any other suggestions?

Should I add best Sesame Street book (someone mentioned The Monster at the End of the Book in the comments) and should I include tv specials and straight to vid movies if I did a movie category?

One of my favorite books growing up was "The Monster at the End of the Book" with grover. Classic.

Did you see my photoshop of cookie monster from the congressional hearings?

See it here

Here's a suggestion: add some Sesame Street CD's to your wishlist. I was gonna send you one, but I didn't know where to ship it, and Google shows two of you.

That was a good idea (not for you to buy me something, but for my kids to get me for Mother's Day, especially the box set).
