There are two things at work here. One, for decades we've seen staged protests in the middle east with the same scraggly, chanting MEN . This is such a change, it's a shock.
Second, most of the women in the photos are incredibly beautiful. Gasp-inducing beautiful. Where did these women come from, and why haven't they been on American Reality shows up till now? We've been cheated.
I wouldn't expect you to understand.

So I woke up about 2 am this morning, and turned on the TV and saw that CNN was covering the demonstrations in Beirut and there were all these hot women in the crowd and then I realized it was just a commercial for Girls Gone Wild.
So I went back to sleep. Well, not right away.

Hey, lot's of less horny, less repressed geeks fueled the progress of the various 60's movements solely to get close to the free-love hippie chicks. It should work even better in the ME.
