yea

The post that was here (about album covers) wasn't ready for prime time and wasn't supposed to be published yet. Took me long to notice it because work is just a bit overwhelming today. Anyhow, continue on with the comments/suggestions on the post below and just pretend you didn't see anything here this morning. Posting will resume later, when my work is done. Maybe. I dusted off my copy of Kingdom Hearts this weekend and I'm all obsessed again. Where the hell is Alice?

My wife and I got soooo close to beating that game, but she eventually lost interest.

She's a pro at getting 3/4 of the way through video games, then deciding they're too hard/uninteresting/a waste of time and she just stops.

Games unfinished to date:

Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy
Sly Cooper and the Theivius Racoonus
Kingdom Hearts
Final Fantasy X

Might be more, but those were the biggies.

Heh. I beat KH pretty fast. Plan on getting Chain of Memories soon, while waiting for KH2.

FFX was easy to beat...X2 was harder, but mostly cause in order to really win, you had to complete all the missions, and a couple were almost impossible without either incredibly high stats or pure luck.

Jak and Daxter didn't really hold my interest past the first scene, and I haven't heard of Sly Cooper.

I got as far as beating Anselm the first time. Then I did the unthinkable and took a peek in (gasp!) a player's guide, just to see if I was close to the end.

turns out, not so much. damn.

now, the little time I have for PS2 is divided between KH and my two Medal of Honor games.

I heard Chain of Memories was disappointing and that the story is mostly a rehash of the PS2 game.

Anna is a Kingdom Hearts fanatic. If you need help with anything, let me know.

Loved FFX... Played X-2 non-stop for about two days and lost interest... need to break it out again sometime, as I haven't played it in a year. The clothes-changing was annoying me.

For the costume changes in X2, build up two of the spheres for each character, make sure there's balance, then you don't have to change them all the time.

Also, if you set the options to a short scene, you don't waste so much time during the switch.

But they can be useful and fun.

Hm...need to get my PS2 fixed...or just get the new slim one...and play that again. I'm so ready to kick its ass.
