Immediately jam finger down on channel changer.

Has to be a troll. Nobody actually says "meanies".

so, if we give bush another 4 years, he promises to track OBL down this time? or is he just not concerned about OBL any longer?
Posted by: steve h | October 29, 2004 07:38 PM
Whereas a President Kerry would easily track OBL down by inviting him to a summit at the White House. Think of the photo op as the two celebrate "peace in our time" with a firm handshake... doesn't it fill your heart with love?

I wonder if you are mistaken Michele. I think it was Michael Moore up OSB's robes.

For completely different reasons.

Um... I do. Usually when mocking trolls. But then, I'm such a meanie at times. :)

I have a plan.
Since I didn't have time to tell you what my plan to end terrorism is in the debates, I've decided to post it as an ASV exclusive.
One word:
Hugs

I love being a meanie.

Actually, I was a bit suprised to see Osammy lookin' all chipper and healthy. I'm one of those folks who was pretty sure that he was atrophied in a smelly cave somewhere along the Paki border. I'm not writing him off altogether, but it appears as though he's lost most of his capacity to command (what is left of)his loyalists. We don't have his ass on a plate yet, but diminished capacity works nicely for me until we get him (and we WILL get him). Either way, I really don't see how this works in either candidate's favor. Besides, the Big O failed to repeat the "your streets will run with American blood" mantra that seems to be mandatory in any communique to the American people. He looked like he really just wanted to have a cigar, watch a few minutes of the evening news, and hit the sack early.
K-Rock's playing Extreme? Hey, when they start palying Europe's "Final Countdown" it might be time to turn the ol' knob! Sheesh - It's gotta be better programming than my local stations - they'll have "metal" weekends with large dollops of Loverboy and Cars trax. Oy.

Wow, how do I follow 88's comment? I know this isn't genius or anything but the reaction to bin Laden's tape will tell us exactly where we are in terms of the war on terror. If we collectivelly think that he's made us a good offer to not make war with Muslim countries, we're going to elect a president Kerry on Tuesday. If the American people see his face and want to stomp on it, Bush is in.

Oh, and 104.3 is the only bearable station left in NY.
Posted by: Karol | October 30, 2004 03:23 AM
88's comment has been deleted. He shows up here from time to time pretending to be Hitler. He's not very good at it.

My take on OBL tape.

Shut the fuck up, Osammy!
Thank You!

I wonder if maybe the President has one of those cool little killing machines like the Evil Captain Kirk had in the Alternate universe. All he has to do is to twirl a dial and the viewscreen will zero right in on Osama bin Laden, then, with a push of a button, the President will make him go away in a bright flash of light.
Maybe he'll do it on "60 Minutes" and let us all watch it!
Dammit, why hasn't he used his Mirror Universe Killing Thingamajiggie!? Why?
Posted by: Jimmie | October 30, 2004 09:43 AM
Personally, I think it would be a really bad move for either side to spin this one. We'll see.

And, the teenagers' response
Posted by: jcwinnie | October 30, 2004 11:36 AM
The commercial (hits) stuff was a lot like cotton-candy, but the actual Extreme ALBUMS were rather metal.
I don't know of too many grandmothers humming "Litle Jack Horny" or "Get the funk out".
Posted by: Ricky | October 30, 2004 02:31 PM
OBL sounds extremely pussified to me.
Not that we shouldn't keep on kicking the shit out of them.
