Hi! Isn't it a weird coincidence that CBS fell for documents they thought were written in 1972, which was also the last time they updated their Crisis Management manual? So. My traffic has been Rather heavy (hardy-har-etc.) because of the "Space Unicor... [Read More]

Michele is back, and blogging about Rather- this time, stuffing the “What’s the Frequency Kenneth” lyrics with links to Rathergate stories. R.E.M., meawhile, had an album called “Document”- was it forged? And speaking of Stipe and Co., they’ve got a... [Read More]

I've always hated that song.
And now it's stuck in my head. (sigh) Looks like it's suicide again for me.

I don't know where else to put this. But I am glad your back.

Does the mp3 include you singing along? :)

It's looking more and more like Rather's gambit actually backfired on Kerry. Which seems only fair....

It goes back to when Rather was mugged by a guy that asked him "What's the frequency Kenneth?"

Yes, that is what the link I provided says.

Ray,
How have the Killian memos backfired on Kerry?

Thanks for the .mp3!!! No, I'm not kidding, I was in the Gulf when Monster came out, and I bought the CD in Dubai (a surreal experience it is, shopping for Western music in the UAE). I liked the song from the beginning, maybe because I was one of perhaps six people who knew what it referred to at the time.
As for the frequency incident, I always suspected that it was a pair of guys who wanted just to beat up on Dan, and the Kenneth thing was only a red herring.
But now we all know it was simply Karl Rove preparing the ground for today's situation. Gotta give props to the VRWC, they have a long view.

That is great. I found this video that does a pretty good job of summing up the events this past week for Dan. I have only seen on Bit Torrent so far (It is only about 9mb though). You can grab the .torrent file here :

This, along with "This is the End of the World as We Know It", are two of my favorite songs of which I had no idea of the lyrics. A lot of mouthing the vowels, to be sure. Thanks a bunch!

Ahahahahah!
That was funny.
Like not at all.
Darling, how many times have you threatened to stop blogging because you're a head-case? You should stop blogging simply because you suck.
And your ass is huge...

And how many times to you come back here to tell me I suck?
Maybe my ass is so huge because your head is stuck up it.

after the weekend's fun ending with Dan trying to prick the lethally large bubble he'd created, I had to come back and try this one out again. and it works! I think that nutcase was one of those sad people who can see the future and are ruled by it. right now, millions of people would love to kick Rather until he tells them the frequency so they can permanently block his mind-bending broadcasts. okay, they can just turn the channel. but they still want to kick him a few times.
what's with the asshat? apology in advance for unsolicited advice, but I'm okay if you don't give him full freedom of speech on a blog he doesn't pay for, produce, maintain or add to in any way. censoring the asshats is not a crime!
