I think the author of the steal f911 post is being a bit... antagonistic. Not by hosting the movie, because I have no problem with that. Just the way he's posting... 'come on big boy... sue me.'

I don't even think Moore would sue him anyway. Most 'liberals' that I talk to seem to have problems with the copyright laws anyway.

I'm so sick of everyone blasting Michael Moore and the damn Conservatives trying to keep him from exercising his freedom of speech. He has the balls to stand up for what he believes in, which I might remind everyone, is what America is about. Leave the man alone, he's making a statement. Unless you all want to make a movie about how great war is and why we should re-elect the laziest president ever then shut the fuck up.

Next time you try and make a point, you might want to consider writing something that doesn't make me glad I gave up being a liberal years ago. If that's all you've got, then, well, I can't help you.

I swear, EVERY post I read from the left nowadays pushes me farther and farther away from them. I read posts like that and know I made the right decision.

What kind of "balls" does it take to make a movie? I don't think Moore even had to put up any of his own money for this venture. In his circles, it would take balls NOT to be totally anti-Bush.

"laziest president ever.." Actually, he's probably the most physically fit president we've ever had. Let's put a picture of Michael Moore and Pres. Bush together and ask random people who they would guess is the most lazy.

The job description of being president does not involve "being fit". Thats like calling me the laziest programmer ever, and me saying 'I'm not lazy... I work out every day'.

Actually, Bush seems to be pretty fit. He jogs every day, for one thing. I believe the "lazy" crack has to do with the anti-Bush canard that he takes "too many vacations" (mostly either to his ranch in Crawford, Texas, which is so wired to Washington that it's practically a second White House, and where Bush seems to spend most of his spare time in such slothful activities as clearing brush; or to government retreats like Camp David, where he often meets with dignitiaries and officials and continues government business). It also could stem from the idea lots of anti-Bush folk have that he is "intellectually incurious." It is typical of this crowd that they think of intellectual dilettantism to be not only necessary to one's health but just as strenuous as physical exercise.

A little late to see what you had to say about Moore's movie. I'm suprised & not. I keep your site bookmarked; I was born 'lefty', but I have this need to question my beliefs on a regular basis: I think the truth is always in the middle, if that makes sense.

At any rate, I don't come here for name-throwing or the like. I enjoy your site. I thought this review of Moore's movie is an indication that the movie may have swayed even a few righties. Moore is still saying he will defend every fact presented in the movie, but does say that his opinions about those facts are his.
