The Great Cartoon Debate, Part IV: Quiz Time

I remembered a fair number, forgot some others. Saddest part is that many of them are after my time.

My only question is...Are you sure Fractured Fairytales is from the Underdog show? I could have sworn it was from Rocky and Bullwinkle.

Funny you should mention Gigantor. There is an entire website devoted to Gigantor, God knows why.

Fuller (and rather demented) discussion of this here and here.

I think on 138, they're looking for what he says immediately before the pull, which is, "Nothin' up my sleeve, Presto!" And, yes, never actually a rabbit.

Not many gaps left...

107: Mac and Tosh, the gopher twins

What, no Superchicken? Who remember Superchicken's secret identity?

I always thought #21. was Chad, not Cad (though I may be wrong), and he looked exactly like Ted Danson. I never could get over that.

not to cheat, but are you aware of the Big Cartoon Database? www.bcdb.com

I thought I was the only person to remember Kimba.
I cried when his mother died. There, I've never admitted that to anyone.

For Veeshir:

"KIMBA! (kimba) KIMBA! (kimba), KIMBA! (kimba) KIMBA! (kimba),
Who lives down in deepest darkest Africa (africa)?
Who's the one who brought the jungle fame?
Who's the king of animals in Africa?
Kimba the White Lion is his name!

When we get in trouble and we're in a fight,
Who's the one who just won't turn and run?
Who believes in doing good and doing right?
Kimba the White Lion is the one!

Oh, and enjoy these downloadable videos of Kimba!

86. "Heavens to mergatroid."?

It's "Murgatroyd".

97. "Here I come to save the day."?

That means that Mighty Mouse
Is on the way!

114. What Johann Strauss piece was the music for a Bugs Bunny cartoon?

Sounds like the cartoon "Corny Concerto", a "Fantasia" parody. "Tales from the Vienna Woods" was used for one segment with Bugs being hunted by Porky Pig and a dog. "Blue Danube" was used for the other segment with swans and ducks.

Does anyone else remember those cheap-looking Marval cartoons; where the main characters (Hulk, Capt. America) were stills-- not even properly animated?

Re: #30, I thought it was Nell who loved the horse, not Mr. Clueless.

i don't remember marvel ones, but i still have some he-man cartoons on tape that are like that, not animated, just still shots with voiceover

and sry, i don't know hardly any of these questions (i was raised on star trek tng :)

75. Mel Blanc didn't do all the Bugs Bunny characters. June Foray played Mama Bear, Stan Freberg played Papa Bear, and most important of all--Arthur Q. Bryan played Elmer Fudd. "Oh Bwunhilde, youaw so wovewy!" [Though Mel Blanc's voice was used for the cry of "SMOG!"]

I disagree, but respect your opinion.
