D-Day
I'll have something on it later.

Along the same line, I read just the other day that graduating high school seniors cannot name a single WWII general, or battle, or significant date. The one thing that they do know, because it has been drummed into them, is the internment of Japanese-Americans.
They also know that George Washington and Thomas Jefferson were evil hypocrites who owned slaves.

I've also noticed even FoxNews, "so-called greatest generation."

I just graduated from high school, and I have to say that very few of my peers even care about history. They are more intereted in their own short term gratification.
