I need not remind you that the Spirit of America coalition is in full swing still, and we need your donations.
Kevin has the latest roundup on the tallies, the offers and the news.
One of the "special requests" that came to me via a
donation to SOA (I will write on the subject of your choice if you donate in the name of the
VC) is this one:
bq. What I would like is for you to open a post to your readers where they ask you questions about blogging and you answer them. And if they don't have any questions about blogging, they can ask questions about you. And maybe you can make an
about page from those answers. An About Blogging page and an About the Author page. Ok?
Ok. Use the comments. I'll answer as many as I can and do as requested. The contributor also requested that I answer all questions honestly regardless of how tacky, tasteless or offensive the subject matter may be and I'll try to do that, but I think I can trust most of you not to be tacky, tasteless or offensive here. Right?
I'm gonna throw in this as well: For every question asked that I can provide a decent answer to, I will throw in a dollar for SOA. If one hundred of you ask me a question, that means another hundred dollars for the SOA. If anyone wants to match this, that would be fantastic. I'd like to hit the 10k mark today -
here's where we are at.
So, I guess today is
Ask the Blogger Monday, which is fine as I was going to write about something else that I'd rather put on the back burner for now.
Ask away.
Comments
Consider yourself matched for the hundred.
When do you sleep?

How do you stand on economics? Tax & spend? Trickle down? Voodoo? Fair & balanced?
(Sorry, that last one was just for the humor effect. It's still early.)
Posted by: Jim | April 26, 2004 08:02 AM
Make that another dollar for dollar match, and I'll go up to 150 questions!
Anyone care to engage in some 'one-upmanship'?
I sure hope the rest of your readers are a curious as I am!
E-mail me when you consider these comments 'closed' - and let me know much I need to send. I look forward to helping again... ;-)
My question:
Where'd your 'about me' page go, and are you going to put it or a new version back online?
I suppose you could update it with some of the results of this post!

How are you coping with the Yankees "Lost Weekend" and are you ready to pull for your cross town rivals?
Posted by: Drew | April 26, 2004 08:38 AM
Okay, Brian, I'll see your 150 match and raise it to 200.
So now for a question about blogging. What do you do when you can't for the life of you think of something to blog about?

On Friday two trains departed Washington, DC, on parallel tracks for the 250 mile trip New York . Both have the same number of cars and passengers. Train A can travel at 150 miles per hour, but must stop for twenty minutes in Philadelphia and twenty minutes in Trenton, New Jersey. Train B can only travel 75 miles an hour but makes no stops.
How long did it take Train A to get to New York?
A. 6 hours to Philly.
B. A week.
C. It's still in Philadelphia.
D. I don't know, I had to take a bus when the train broke down.
E. All of the above.
