A shot for me, a shot for Damon
A secretary in this building brought in enough corned beef and cabbage for everyone to enjoy a nice Irish lunch. However, the more imporant thing is, she also brought in a bottle of Jameson's to make Irish coffees.
I'll take one Irish coffee. Hold the coffee, please. I wonder if it's against protocol to do shots at work.
Aside from the myriad of other posts I've been working on, I've been putting together something about people who have this foolish notion that blogs need to be bi-partisan. You know, slag one side, slag the other. Praise one side, praise the other. News flash, people. Blogs do not have the responsibility to be fair and balanced. The scales of opinion tip in my favor when I am writing on my website. Oh, and the key word there is opinion. Well, more on that later.
For now, let me wave my partisan flag.

Michele, believe it or not, I value your voice and opinion. You've got alot of good to say but, since you have comments enabled, people will call you on fallacies.
I've thoroughly enjoyed my short discourse with you and have learned from it.
And of course blogs have no requirement to be bi-partisan or fair or balanced or anything at all. But they should be defined clearly and the terms used should be as clearly defined. Otherwise, its much easier to misconstrue your arguments.
That said, have a Happy St. Pat's Day.

We almost got a quarter keg of Guiniess here at work....but saner heads prevailed.

WHat? What? Chris sent that to you too?
That slut! I feel so... so... used!
I'm kinda digging it though....

Johnny: And of course blogs have no requirement to be bi-partisan or fair or balanced or anything at all. But they should be defined clearly and the terms used should be as clearly defined.
The problem with that, Johnny, is my politics are not clearly defined. I'm right on some things, left on others, center on some issues. So, should I put a big banner on the site saying something like "Welcome to A Small Victory - A Right Wing/Left Wing/Centrist blog" ?

Unfortunately, even though Jameson's is made in Ireland, it's a French-owned subsidiary of Picard (sp?). Therefore, I only buy Bushmills or, better yet, Tullamore Dew, if I can find it. I work from my home. It is DEFINITELY against protocol to do shots. They must be mixed into a cocktail.

Johnny, when all is said and done, this is Michele's site and she has the final say. You can start your own weblog and state what your beliefs are upfront, like on an about you page, for example. And if someone needs clarification, that's what comments and email is for.
Anyway, happy St. Patrick's Day to those Irish and non-Irish! I'll drinks something with Irish whiskey in it this evening.

Many people cannot simply state their beliefs "in a nutshell". That doesn't mean they are hiding them.
Hell, I thought nuance was supposed to be in this year.

"A secretary in this building brought in enough corned beef and cabbage for everyone to enjoy a nice Irish lunch."
Same here.
"However, the more imporant thing is, she also brought in a bottle of Jameson's to make Irish coffees."
Not the same here...dammit.
Oh, Irish coffee! How perfect! All four essential food groups in one place. Let's see: alcohol, caffeine, sugar, fat. Yup, there they are.

I need to see if there's any Guinness left in the store when I go home. I already have the Jameson there, but I also have Maker's Mark, which I think is soooo much more yummy.
mmm.
Hell, I'm Irish-=American= after all.

A Right Wing/Left Wing/Centrist blog"?
I know eight million people will have told you this, but your political views are pretty close to mine. Glance over this when you have time.

Great rack, likely liberal view of sexual relations, opposites attract etc.

Damon says thanks to Michele; dead little girls are the best.He tells Dean to bark like a dog for him, and agrees @ Ryan. Tanya keeps him awake nights.

Really.
Zed is pretty hot too. And in my age range. But he and Sam definitely have some adult chemistry and it would be foolish to move in on that. Damon would be that boy toy you could actually talk to.
