Might like you better if we slept together

Has anyone else become quickly and totally addicted to VH1's Bands Reunited, or is it just me?

Okay, so the premise gets sorta formulaic fast -- obviously, they're all gonna say yes, and there's gonna be a show at the end, and they'll all be glad they had the experience and healed old wounds and whatever. And yes, the bands aren't all that great, since they're all few-hit wonders from the early 80s -- pioneers of rock these guys aren't. Hell, I didn't even remember who Romeo Void was (were?), but somehow, I was drawn in anyway.

So this whole premise begs the question: If you could reunite one band from the past, a band that's been broken up for at least 10 years, let's say, which band would it be and why? Let's get a little audience participation for this open-mic night.

Mother Love Bone - although I fear Andrew Wood wouldn't be much for singing after all these years of decomposition.

Dreams So Real - should have caught on with the Athens sound, but didn't. Too bad.

It's just you. VH1 should die. Quickly. Put us out of its' misery.

I liked Berlin and was glad they did it.

Return to Forever with Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke, Lenny White(wow), and either Al Dimeola or Bill Connors. Of course, I would have to be 18 again circa 1974, but it never was quite as exciting again.

Led Zeppelin natually would be my first choice. But like Mother Love Bone, there is that death problem getting in the way. The other choice would be the original line-up of Guns n' Roses (although Matt Sorum on drums would be alright).

VH1 should die? In an ironic twist, there are actual watchable shows on VH1, but MTV has nothing. Oh days of "Remote Control" on MTV, whither hast thou gone?

WTF?

What about playing MUSIC on MTV? - it's supposed to be Music TeleVision.

Thank god that Fuse has come along... a music channel that actually plays music all day, what a concept.

This is a long shot but VH1 should reunite Van Halen. It would never happen, but think about the drama between eddie and Dave. I would watch it even if they never made the stage. Just my thoughts.
