If you see this man

Kill him. Show him no mercy.

So there's this intense manhunt for this guy. He's already killed four people, including his ten month old baby. He has kidnapped three young girls - two daughters and a step-daughter - and taken them on the run with him. The police have said the girls are in extreme danger. He's armed, he's dangerous and the police have issued a nationwide Amber Alert and are asking for your help in finding him.

On CNN's website, there is a nice, big picture of Scott Peterson. On Drudge, there's a horrific picture of Katherine Harris. Fox, at least, has the photo of the murderer up. Seriously, if you are in a position to help, why wouldn't you? I guess Drudge thinks Katherine Harris and the lady who lied about her lottery ticket are breaking news, but a scumbag kidnapper/murderer on the run isn't.

Everyone - especially those in the Georgia area - should be on the lookout for this guy. Would it kill CNN and Drudge to put up a nice big photo of the guy on their front page?

Like I said, if you see him, kill him. I'm sure that's not what the police want but it's sure as hell what I want.

When I was getting ready for work this morning, FOX. almost exclusivly, was covering this story.

His options for running would be (1) north to the relatively nearby Tennessee border, (2) South to Atlanta, which is densely populated and the Levi's Call (Georgia's version of the Amber Alert) is probably blaring from every radio in every car on the streets and highways, or (3) into a backwoods spot in the mountains closer to Ranger where the prospects for finding him and the girls alive wouldn't be good.

Vigilance is of course in order, and so are prayers.

none of the other news sites even mention an Amber Alert, except msnbc down in the last paragraph. The rest are just pulling the story off AP

Fox News is the only one with a description of the vehicle and the tag #.

Well, good for Fox.

If he comes our way, consider it done.

While I was reading your post the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area put out an Amber alert on the radio. In this area, that means that it was also be posted on all the highway informational signs. They didn't state if he'd been spotted travelling this direction, only that the alert was being issued in cooperation with the Georgia police.

Georgia and most of the states around it are Shall-Issue concealed carry states. Hopefully, he'll run into a concerned citizen who's a good shot.

wow, Michelle, I was just saying the same thing to someone about how CNN and Drudge are basically ignoring this breaking news crisis. MSNBC has a headline about it but you have to be looking to find it.
I pray for those girls to be delivered safely to their mother.

The story is grisly. This f*cker shot his own ten-month old daughter.

AM radio has been breaking in with alerts all day, and Atlanta highway "traffic alert" digi-boards are all broadcasting the info on the truck. Also, local media is all over it.

Citizens, shoot him on sight.

No, Kelley. It's even worse. He didn't shoot her, he strangled her. A little more hands on isn't it? What an evil prick. I hope he gets a gut shot and the death is slow.

The NBC nightly news just covered the story...
