Aaron "Lucky" Boone. It was hard not to feel happy for him last night during the post-game interview. ('Aaron, did you dream of this moment when you were a kid?' 'umm...YEAH!') Congratulations, Yankees fans, from a Red Sox fan. What a wonderful series! Can't wait for the sequel, whenever that comes.
I and many of my New England neighbors couldn't help but root for the Yankees in 2001. This is New York's first chance to right that wrong and unfair outcome and win their first championship in the new millennium. Go beat those uppity expansioners! Florida is for Spring Training!
Speaking of which, pitchers and catchers report in 100 days...see y'all then!
