Our Father. who art at Fenway, baseball be thy game. Thy kingdom come,
World Series won, on earth as it is in the Cask n' Flagon. Give us this
day, oh Pedro Martinez, and forgive us our losses, as we forgive those,
like young Billy Buckner. And lead us not into depression. but deliver us
from the EVIL curse.
Amen
Sorry, couldn't help it. My grandfather-in-law has been hanging on 89 years to see it happen. And besides, I am a Bostonian originally and still at heart!
The familiar form of "The Boston Red Sox" is "The Sox". The term "BoSox" was coined by some sports commentator or other who was obviously not from Boston. The Chicago team with a similar name is known here as "The White Sox" or, less often, "The Black Sox", but most of us don't like to rub that in their faces.
The New York Yankees are known by assorted names, none of which I feel need repeating here.
Jeter, Joe? There's no stauncher Sox fan than I am, but I like and respect the man. Wouldn't hurt my feelings any if the Rectal Rocket got a broken bat crammed where the sun don't shine, but I see no reason to wish that on Jeter.

If you stick to that, you're a better person than I!

Amen, Sondrak. Amen.
Now, a PSA for all of you who aren't from Boston:

There is no curse, boston just doesn't have the money to buy MLB the way the yankees do.
I hope the Yanks loose. I hope Derrick Jeter(aka funny-face) gets an injury that ends his career.
I hope Chicago wins it all.
