yankees v. sox, part 2

I'd like to thank all of the people who lost last week's bet and held up their end of the bargain by linking to me and (trying to) say nice things about the Yankees.

Care to wager again on this weekend's series?

Yes, I know Jeter is out for the series. But I'm confident. Besides, it will all even out when Ramirez finds himself in a bar instead of the Stadium.

One week of saying nicey things about the Yanks isn't NEARLY enough.... so why not? You're ON.

Bet on the Sox v. pinstripes, is Pete Rose involved?
I could just spend the week talking about Don Zimmer.

your on.
Go Sox

You're welcome. And it was only for a week? You should commend my generosity for being willing to offer 'faux' praises for the Yankees for the whole month.
As far as the little wager is concerned on this weekend - I'll do it again, sure. Masochism is our delight!

Oh, Michele, you so casually tempt the fates by poking fun at Manny. Very brave, but I suspect Manny is going to bust out at the Stadium.

As for Jeter being out, big deal. Statistically, he's among the worst at his position. The who's better Nomar, A-Rod, or Jeter argument is long over.

As it goes, you know what I'm most worried about: The Red Sox finally beating the Yankees soundly in the Bronx then going to to get the tar beat out of them by Baltimore and negating any ground made up in catching the Yanks.

Hey are you still going with my Sox take 4 out of 6? They have to sweep this weekend to make it a reality.....

Red Sox sweep.

I agree with Ed. Odds that we sweep the weekend only to get trounced by the O's or the D Rays in the coming weeks are high.

BLASPHEMY!

I would never say anything nice about the Y*****s!

On the other hand, I don't badmouth them like I badmouth the satan-worshipping, puppy-blending, pedarastic, devilspawn.

Are you nuts?? Do you seriously think I'd be dumb enough to do that again?!

Apparently, you do.

Apparently, I am.

I hate you.

Do you know how hard it is for a non yankees fan to say nice things about them? I don't know if I want to subject myself to that. Fight the power Solly, fight the power. Come to the light. cooooooooooooooooooooome to the light.

I don't know if I could do it two weeks in a row. Can I get back to you on this bet after the game? Heh.

If I were to make the bet, and lose, would I have to create a blog just to pay up? :)
THAT scares me.

Ken Summers hates the right team.

Yes, I'm game.

Thanks Linkmeister,

I live in their territory. It's a hard life sometimes.
