well it was bound to happen sooner or later
The Blackout was 'a Realization of bin Laden's Promise to Offer the Iraqi People a Present'
"A communiqué attributed to Al Qaeda claimed responsibility for the power blackout that happened in the U.S. last Thursday, saying that the brigades of Abu Fahes Al Masri had hit two main power plants supplying the East of the U.S., as well as major industrial cities in the U.S. and Canada, 'its ally in the war against Islam (New York and Toronto) and their neighbors.'
If you find that all hard to swallow, there's always the UFO theory.

If that was the best they can do I would say that our campaign against them is working really well.

Funny. I expected the "It's God's punishment for New York's decadence" to hit first. Our Fundamentalists are falling down on the job!

In related news, Osama bin Laden also made good on his promise to plunge America into darkness by pulling the bright white disk, called the "Sun" by the infidels, down below the horizon. The darkness was most foul, and it caused the Americans to shake in bowel-loosening fear. In an unusual showing of benevolence to the people of the White House dog, Bush, bin Laden returned the life-giving disk to the sky the next day, but warned that he would continue the cycle of light and dark until his demands are met. He also demanded a creamcicle and a new pair of shoes.

The deity wouldn't punish New Yorkers by turning the lights out, he'd punish them by turning the lights on.

Oh, so you haven't been following my theory about Brookhaven National Lab and the Naval Weapons Industrial Plant in the area of the Surge's Epicenter as well as possible connections to a purported underwater UFO base and the Philadelphia Experiment?
Man, I wish I would have saved that image of the Surge that the NWS had up right after the blackout........the epicenter originates right in that whole area.

Oddly enough, UFOs was the first thing we thought of when the lights went out... well, first it was "power outage," then "squirrel on a wire," then when we heard cell phones and radio weren't working, "maybe the mother ship is here."

In a nutshell, Bin Laden thinks Arab people are the stupidest people on the planet and would believe anything they are told. Who does he think they are? Michael Moore book buyers.

I said pretty much the same thing in my posting about it. I'm glad...hell, relieved that others aren't buying it either.
