Chris Muir's Day by Day

We are off to our weekly bookstore trip. I'll pick up Wolves in the Walls today. I'll probably spend the rest of the day reading it, so I'll have a review tonight.

I'm also in a creepy enough mood today (thanks, weather gods!) to kick the ass of any fanboy who is drooling over the graphic novel section.

When I gave a Light Blogging Warning, I was talking about my output, and did not mean for all the rest of the Blogosphere to shut down all day. Is it just me, or has the Blogosphere died this Saturday?... [Read More]

Worked in a Borders Books for six months and sure enough, even down here in the deep south, the manga and graphic novel freaks are just that, stale smelling, stool-hogging, all-day-reading-never-buying freaks.

We had a whole series of solitary laughers. Guys that would sit in the section by themselves and read "Love Hina" and laugh maniacally the whole time.

Creepy. One of them came unglued and starting practicing his stick-fighting with a mop-handle and some invisible opponents in front of the store. The police came and took him away. We all breathed a sigh of relief, broke out the air-freshener and moved on.

I got my copy of Wolves yesterday, I'm interested to see what you think of it. I also read "Season of Mists" yesterday and that made a much bigger impression on my brain.

Is it just me, or does the White House lean a little to the right? (its right, that is) lol
