these posts are getting lame
Ok. Let's see how many of you are still here.
You are in a thrash metal band. You are going to remake a song from the 70's, speed metal style.
What song will you do?

Donna Summer's "Love To Love You Baby" -- mixing moaning with metal, disco, sex and headbanging, that'd be a fun challenge.
Then again, I bet "Dancing Queen" would also be fun to adapt -- "dig that scene! yeah! yeah! dancin' f'in queen! yeah! yeah!"

Not a '70s song, but I've always thought bob Dylan's "Subterranean Homesick Blues" would make a good speed-metal tune.
"JOHNNY'SINTHEBASEMENT
MIXIN'UPTHEMEDICINE
I'MONTHEPAVEMENT
THINKIN'BOUTHTEGOVERNMENT"
etc.

I've had a hyperdrive-version of Miss America by Styx in my head for years. Does that make me a bad person?...
