things we did for fun

ouija.jpg You ever play with one of these things? We spent a lot of time beckoning the devil when we were young. We started out innocently enough. Will Bobby ask me out? Will I pass gym? Who stole my Bay City Rollers album? We eventually progressed to the things the board was made for. Who is going to die first? Will I die a gruesome death? Did Janie really eat boogers for lunch? Always the pointer, guided by Satan himself, would direct our fingers to the answer we were hoping for.

There was a tale told that Ouija boards held the souls of the dead within them. If you had one in your house, those souls would eventually escape and take over first your home and then your body.

My mother made throw our Ouija board away. For nights after that, I was afraid to go to sleep because I figured the souls of the damned were mighty pissed that they were sitting in a garbage dump and they were going to come looking for me.

We also fooled around with seances and levitation. We were bored surbanites.

Ypu're not the only one who played with them. We all did too and there was this one story about this girl I went to school with whose mom died and came back through the board to tell her shit.
I think she was on acid.

Light as a feather, stiff as a board. That's all I'm sayin.

Mary Worth, Mary Worth, Mary Worth.

Gives me chills even now.

did anyone ever play coroner? you get measured for your coffin? ok. maybe that was just us freaks up north.

light as a feather, stiff as a board!

i can't believe someone beat me to it.

mary worth? that's a comic strip. bloody mary. bloody mary. bloody mary.

i thought ouija boards were fake until i did one alone once. it's probably still subconscious-driven, but it was awfully creepy.

Here ya go, Tanya:

If I really wanted to chant in the mirror to a scary comic strip character, I'd have chosen Kathy.

My mom got a gallon of gasoline and burned our Ouija Board after it's prediction of my sister's death came true (it only missed by one day). Strange, but very true.

I had one spell out my grandfather's name once, and my hands weren't on it. I called my mom so freaked out afterwards she had to come and take me home -- and I was 15 years old -- much past the stage for mommy to come and rescue me from a sleepover. Thing was, I asked from across the room, "If this thing's real, tell it to spell out my grandfather's name." It spelled out "Jennings Brian". My friends started laughing because my grandfather's name was Marion and they all "knew" that. Well, Marion was my grandfather from the age of 5. My blood grandfather -- Jennings Bryan (it was off by one letter) died when I was 3 1/2. I've been terrified of them ever since.

I use a pendulum all the time to ask various things. It's amazing how accurate they are. Although with the pendulum you're supposed to be contacting your spirit guide you has your best interests at heart.

I remember playing with a board or something similar in primary school and we all saw the shape of a body up on the wall with no legs. Later research showed that someone had died on the grounds after having their legs accidentally chopped off in an accident.

It's all real ........

my friends and i bought a ouija board, and it worked for us,except our friends were coming up with explanations cuz they didn;t believe it. tonight we tried light as a feather stiff as a board with no luck. =( i still believe!!!

my friend told me about how they used the ouija board on halloween. she said they had this triangle of safety thing in case something happens, then yea they were talking to the spirits and stuff. she also told me things that you shouldnt ask while playing that. never ask stupid questions like something about death and stuff like that so yea, just be careful.

Bloody mary is really scary, and i want to know if the myths are true?

I have been doing Ouija Bords ever since I was 10. I love the freaked out feeling you get when the bord starts to move, and when the candles are going and then randomly go out. maybe im not that superstious to bleave that any things ever going to happen. P.S. I wouldnt ask about deth dates. :)

My friends and I did this today and we got it to work one time! we had 3 on one side and 2 on the other and 1 at each end and we each went around the circle and said "Light as a feather , stiff as a board" each person counted to 3 before they said it and then after that everybody said it together several times and we got her up about 3 feet off the ground! But that was the only time it would work! I also tried it with another group of friends but it wouldnt work cause they didnt do it right! It was cool though! then we kept saying it and lowered her back down and she said she didnt even know she had moved! you have to believe it will work and concentrate on it and it will work!
As far as Bloody Mary we were going to do that with them Halloween but they thought they heard a man's voice and we were in the girls bathroom so we didnt get to do it! Everyone was too scared!

u are all freaks

ditto...freaks!!!

hey all. me and some friends are starting to get into that stuff, too. we're getting ahold of a ouiji board this halloween, as well as trying pretty much everything there is. light as a feather hasn't been working so far...i think it's cause a few of the girls get a severe case of the giggles and their concentration is broken.

ANYWAY, has anyone tried the four corner levatation trick? for those of you that haven't, have five people. one person has to sit in a chair (you "should" have the heaviest person to make it more fun), while the others stand behind his or her shoulders and squatted at his or her legs (the chair needs to face West, or North if west doesn't work).

clench your hands, and extend the two index fingers. the four corners must stick their fingers in the "pits" (leg pits and arm pits) and try to lift their sitter. Of course...it doesn't work. After that, proceed with one of the two (try both!).

Option 1: have one person hold their left hand above the sitter. afterwards, rotate around the circle (whichever direction, try both to see which works better) and have everyone put their left hand over top (NO ONE can touch!). when everyone has a left hand up, keep going with the right hands. when all hands are up, hold them for a few seconds, and "unstack" them. replace your fingers in the "pits" and count to three, and LIFT.
Option 2: after trying to lift once and failing, one person must PLACE their right hand on top of the sitter, pressing down slightly. go around (any direction), stacking hands and pressing down slightly (right hands, then left hands). Count to ten, and on NINE everyone must rapidly unstack their hands and LIFT on the 10 count. hold for as long as you can - don't let the subject fly through the ceiling ;)

THIS REALLY WORKS!!! TRY IT
(it's not witchcraft...some kind of magnetic imbalance, but you can imagine that it is, haha)

ps)anyone with some games or spell stuff like that (not bloody mary i know all bout that) OR questions about my stuff, send me an email and we'll talk.
