» Good morning. from my single mom life
Yeah, right.
It is still raining.
It has been raining non-stop and everything is flooded. The state is under flood warnings/watch and my yard is part of that.
My phone is dead again.
I lost it again last night as soon as it started to rain again. T... [Read More]

Aw, c'mon. I don't want to go on mine and then get to a state to find you've already cleaned out the place.
Can we at least nominate a few?

I suppose now would be a bad time to tell you that after nine weeks in a row of rain, 23 of the 31 days of May having rained, Richmond finally got two sunny days in a row.
I put the soft top my Jeep yesterday and went driving.
I went to a picnic in Goochland County today. (Love that name.)
Come down here. It's sunny and warm. I have a sofabed. And I speak Noo Yawk.

Not only can I help you pick states, but also cities, and aw hell, neighborhoods that you can have your way with. Doesn't even have to be a killing spree. A good-once-over or a swift-kick-to-the-genitals spree would work nicely, too.

i hear that. it has been raining for a week straight. the state is under flood watch/warning and we can't flush our toilet.
May I join you on that killing spree?

It was sunny here today.
And breezy.
And it felt like spring for the first time this year.
Neener.

When I think of Michele, I think of this, regardless of the weather:
The other night, dear
As I lay sleeping
I dreamed I held you in my arms.
When I awoke, dear
I was mistaken
And I hung my head and cried;
You are my sunshine
My only sunshine
You make me happy
When skies are grey
You'll never know dear
How much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away.

I'm moving, and I'm not telling you where.

Can I recommend a few states for starters?
Here's hoping the doughnuts helped. Banana-nut bread helped my wife this evening when she wanted to shoot things up (but that was over incompetent state "board" employess, who were obviously employed in filling California's quota on mentally challenged workers that is required in Prop F*CK YOU TAXPAYER)

Not to be snarky or anything, but some of y'all wouldn't do well in the Pacific NW. Half the time we never even notice that the sun hasn't come out in 3 weeks.
It stays cloudy and rainy for so long in Seattle, the local weather guessers actually remind people not to stare at the sun.
Yes, we have a large lefty population.

Here in Sunny Florida it rained so much today there were floods. My cat does not like the thunder.

I hear you. My town just started a summer water conservation program, even though we've flooded the basement several times in the last month. Ah, the genius of town government.

If the sun hadn't finally shown its face at last, I would have happily joined you.
The police would've probably gunned me down in state #1, though.
