steal this song!
Ok kids. I got Kazaa open and I'm ready to steal some songs. Start shooting those suggestions at me.
I'm starting off with Justin Timberlake's Rock Your Body. Then I'm gonna dance.
I'll probably trip over the vacuum cleaner at some point. That's why I only do things like this when I'm alone.

I Think We're Alone Now by Debbie Gibson. Rock on, baby!

As much as I hate to admit that I know this...
TIFFANY recorded I Think We're Alone Now, not Debbie Gibson!
Steal the song Debbie Gibson is Pregnant with My Two-Headed Love-Child...I can't remember who sings it, but it's really funny!!

AimeeC..
Well, yes Tiffany recorded "I Think Were Alone Now" in the eighties but lets go back to the 60's when Tommy James and the Shondells recorded it. (sheepish grin)

My current loves are The Donnas, The Eyeliners and The Groovie Ghoulies. Each band has scads of great songs (the Ghoulies back-catalog in particular is huge), but I'll suggest a couple of songs from each for the uninitiated:
Donnas: 40 Boys In 40 Nights from Turn 21, Pass It Around from Spend The Night
Eyeliners: Rock-N-Roll Baby! from Here Comes Trouble, Too Good To Be True from Sealed With A Kiss
Groovie Ghoulies: Bye Bye Brain from Travels With My Amp, Ghoulies Are Go! from Go! Stories

I Think We're Alone Now was also covered in cute form by late 70's freaky new wave popstress Lene Lovich.
Try finding that on Kazaa.
On the subject of late seventies new wave
oddities- what about Nina Hagen's African Reggae?

As far as unlikely covers go, Ricky Don't Lose That Number by Wilson Phillips, while not a must have, is vastly better than one would expect.
My inner-city dialup gives a consistant 53k which won't drop on unattended download, but I still don't bother with kazaa. I just check cds out of the library...
