no blood for clipart!

My sister was going through her clipart (Gold Edition Art Explosion, 1996) at work this morning and came across a category called "rallies." She decided to take a look at it and you will not believe what she found.

Were the makers of Art Explosion clipart trying to send a not so subtle message to its users?

I'm pretty offended by this blatant piece of propaganda tucked into an art program.

I only wish I had photoshop at work.

It's prophetic clipart. Beware, it must be a sign that the end is near......LOLOL

If you don't mind a small learning curve, you could always try Gimp:

Ah, there it is... page 338. They also have 8 stages of evolution on 326 but an entire section of biblical scenes on 340. There's also a "MEAT: a Food for Fitness" logo on 277... wish I'd known about that one for "eat an animal for PETA" day. Don't read too much into the politics of a crappy clip-art book. ;-)

Actually, the graphic was probably done about the time of the first Gulf War. "No blood for oil" wasn't new last year.

No appeasement for peace!

No peace for oil, France!

Stop preempting The Simpsons!

People are simply too easily offended. Personally, I think it makes sense. There should be no blood shed, at anytime, for oil, or any other shallow reason such as money and power.

if you think the propaganda against the war is bad, try looking at the propaganda for the war. If anyone listens to NPR, you'd know that not a single waepon of mass destruction was found in Iraq. Who's the fool now?
