I am Ronald Reagan.
Go figure.
Republican - You believe that the free market will
take care of most things, but that the
government should be there with moderate
taxation to provide for national defense and
enforcing morality. Your historical role model
is Ronald Reagan.

If I changed two answers (and not a lot) I went from being Ralph Nader to Ronald Reagan. And here I always thought I was Karl Marx......

those quizes make me nutz. too many of the possible answers are not defined well enough to not want the reader to be able to choose more than one.

Inherently dumb.
It tells me that I'm a socialist because I answered that some industries should be run by the governement ( I was thinking health insurance - I grew up in Canada and I know it works), and because I said that the government should invest in education.
Never mind that all my other answers would probably make me a libertarian...

Damn. That was "Reagan".
And boy did they ever get Chomsky wrong. "Everyone should have control over their own economic production" is the most fundamental definition of capitalism. And as for Chomsky's supposed distrust of government, that only applies to western governments, and specifically the U.S. Chomsky is a hardcore stalinist with only minor disapproval for the "mistakes" of such visionaries as the Khmer Rouge.

Please pass the jelly beans down to this end of the table. Thanks.

I came up libertarian. I agree with Ken about Chomsky. A better person to represent that kind of political philosphy would probably be David Friedman.
