I got it from Solonor, it's all his fault.

Oddly, I liked it. Bit strange, of course, but hey.

OMG, is that real? Looks like the lyrics and lips arent matching up, though the images seem appropriate. Do you have it as a file you could mail me? I'm too damn lazy to sift thru my TEMP folder.

I'm waiting for Trent reznor to return the favor. ::cue industrial background beats:: I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die...

That was awesome. Grew up listening to guys like Johnny and Merle (folks were big country fans), although I never developed an appreciation for them until later on in life.

Brilliant. Johnny is amazing hip, doing a song like that.

Hell, he's the man in black. He was goth before there was a word for it.

My friend sent me an mp3 of it the other day. The video really adds another layer... especially seeing how he looks these days. I hope when I'm that age I'm still doing whatever it is I do as well as he is at making interesting music.

Rockin'.. Thanks for the link.

Hi ya, Michelle. I'm gonna buck what seems to be a trend out in blogland and blogroll you, if you don't mind. Nice site.

Cash is amazing. His version of "Personal Jesus' isn't too shabby, either.

Hell, if he can do Rusty Cage from Soubdgarden, he can do anything...

Michael, you should be able to right-click this and save to your hard drive. File size is 41.9 M-byte.

I was, seriously, just shopping for that cd (American IV. On American III, he covers "Mercy Seat") on Saturday. That video is beautiful.

Rick Rubin is a stone genius for doing that series with Cash.
I've been a fan since I was about 6 or 7 years old. My grandmother used to give me a quarter and I'd go to the cafe, buy a soda and a bag of chips, and have enough left to play two songs on the jukebox--"Ring of Fire" and "Folsom Prison Blues."
Boy, does that date me or what...?

They actually played that video on 120 Minutes on M2 this week.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Brilliant.

Thanks, Ross! Tried form Romanek's site, but it just kept giving me the .html file for the actual page. You rock, dood.

Anybody care to hook a guy up with that Personal Jesus video? Kazaalite has been unkind to me lately, unfortunately.
Regards,

Michael

Incredible! Thanks, Michele. On my "to buy" list, for sure.

just bought the CD recently, on a music therapy jaunt, and am so glad to have seen the video - as glad as you can be to see something that reduces you to tears, that is. ;) thanks for posting the link!
