Yep. Because only Democrats are tolerant, responsible, peaceful and caring.

So caring that they have a freaking pep rally at the memorial service of one of their icons.

So responsible that their celebrity spokesperson Babs spreads rumors that the Republicans assasinated Wellstone.

So tolerant that they can't see past their own ideology and listen to the thoughts and ideas of others.

intolerant, irresponsible, aggressive... You just described yourself, jackass.

Why don't you have a contest to see who can come up with the correct number of innocent people that have been killed and/or tortured by Saddam and his henchmen?

Even better, stage a contest to see how many of this country's servicemen - who are willing to fight to the death for our freedoms - would kick your motherfucking ass if they could get near you.

The sad truth is, they actually believe this nonsense. We had lunch yesterday with an old friend from the old workplace who is, without question, a bright & well educated person. I asked why he felt our colleges are overwhelmingly populated by liberal professors. His reply: the intelligent & thinking person is drawn to the liberal stance by force of reason?! He said it with a straight face, I held down my lunch (barely)...

The Democrats should really find something else to bitch about. Issues would be a good start. So Republicans are mean, coldhearted bastards. So? Is that the best you have? I mean, the Dems are stupid, lying, two-faced, whining, sniveling fucknozzles (thank you, Michele, love it), but you don't hear conservatives using that as a valid argument.

Liberals are totally tolerant - but only of ideas that match up with their own ideology. If it doesn't, then calling the person with the conflicting idea either racist or homophobic will work wonders. That does make life as a liberal easier - not having to think about issues or the consequences of the ideas they advocate for.

Keep name calling. For the next two years, the American people have spoken. Crying will not help you.

And I won't hold my breath waiting for a Democrat to have a reasonable discussion on issues, one that doesn't involve a personal attack on someone.

But IMO, both parties can be intolerant, irresponsible, and agressive.
See any comments here that are tolerant of democrats? I don't. Any RightSider blogs that discuss/debate the LeftSide without resorting to insults? Endangered Species, and the LeftSiders are just as guilty. Many of them there Donks are deserving of spite and ridicule, then again, so are many of them there Packies. Both sides tend to share a joy for the Kick While Down,both enjoy flinging poo at the other, I say embrace those rare similarities!

Both sides have very different POV, but essentially, both sides are more similar to each other than different, in that neither extreme is willing to entertain the POV of the other.

Sylvain, I am completely tolerant of Democrats who can argue ISSUES. Without the name calling. Many of my friends are hard core liberals - and I still love them, even while vehemently disagreeing with them. I'll listen anytime liberals can say something more intelligent than "This is what I believe and you conservatives are mean and racist if you don't agree."

And Jane Galt has a conservative, just the issues blog - if that's really what you're looking for.
