ashes to ashes

Just in case you need something to do while you are waiting for election results and the inevitable declaration that those results are bogus, there's a pretty firey thread of comments going on in this post about the six terrorists that were turned to ash yesterday.

On a completely different note, should I go back to putting titles on the posts? Did you even notice I didn't bother with them today? Does it make any difference at all? What is the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow?

Unless you have your search template set to post results using the Excerpt instead of Title, you're fooked.

I don't use titles (well, I do, but for my benefit so I can edit if needed), they take up too much space. Plus I can never think of clever ones.

I always put my titles in by hand. I do have titles off to the sidebar there ---->, but the titles that were on top of the posts in green were put in manually.

For me, titles are included solely as an excuse to reference lyrics from songs of varying popularity (mostly obscure of course), some with an actual connection to the body of the post. But not many.

This, of course, is a good thing.

Damn it Neal, I was going to write that!

I like titles, tt helps me scan for articles of interest and I spend too much time reading blogs as it is.

I would like numbers on comments as well, and suggest that titles (number, name, link) at the top of comments works better.

What was the capital of Assyria?
