My local paper had another picture of what I think was the same guy and it identified him as one of the suspects brothers.

I guess it's safe to assume he is muslim because he looks muslim
Unless he refused to give his name but was more than happy to reveal his religious persuasion

I know a guy who looks almost exactly like this even kinda dresses that way(thought it was him for a moment)
and he is most assuredly not muslim
and he most assuredly WILL flip off anyone who takes a picture of him.
Seems presumptuous,seems to perpetuate a stereotype, but Oh Well.
It's all in fun right?

yes, I understand.
However, and this is of course not your fault, Yahoo doesn't say that the man says he is a muslim, nor does he say that he is sitting there in support of the suspect. It might be the case, but it might not. They don't quote him as saying anything except refusing to give his name.
He probably is both, but there's nt enough info in the article for me to jump to conclusions.
Had the article said "a young man who says he is a muslim and that he is sitting here to support the suspects".........
It is Yahoo that is assuming, not you.
