killing time

What kind of person blogs on their wedding day?

I'm up from 4am. I couldn't sleep. Everything's done except for the shower/hair/makeup stuff and I'll wait til the last minute for that. I only have to walk across the street to my parents' house about fifteen minutes before the ceremony.

I have no idea what to expect. My sister planned this whole thing with very little input from me. She wants me to be surprised at how the yard is decorated and all.

I've been pacing. I don't know what to do with myself. So I did what any bride to be would do on her wedding morning - I cleaned the hamster cage.

I'm suddenly nervous. I haven't eaten a thing and I don't think I will, which is probably not a great idea.

I know everything will run smooth. Right now my biggest concern is getting someone to tape Adult Swim for me tonight. Girl's gotta have her priorities.

I think I'm going to throw up. Two hours.

I think I'll go clean the frog tank now.

If I am at all coherent and awake late tonight, I will post pictures.

The next time you hear from me I will be married to the greatest guy in the world.

please try to at least force down some crackers before the tequila.

congratulations! i'm so jealous. hug

I love Adult Swim. :)

congratulations! looking forward to hearing your account of the big day! :oD

I didn't sleep at all the night before my wedding; an hour, maybe two, tops - I watched movies and talked to the cat instead. But you should absolutely try to eat something! I myself had Subway for lunch on the big day; perhaps that sentimental attachment is why I like them so much.

Congratulations to you and Justin, Michele - making your own happy ending rocks.

Have fun! I'll be sure to raise a toast to you and Justin later tonight. All the best!

I [heart] you, babe. Eat a hot dog, you'll so love it after the first bite. But save the tequila for after the ceremony.
All the best! Mazel Tov! Woo Hoo!

Congrats and good luck. Hope you two have the best day!

You crack me up. Good luck, have fun!

have a lot of fun today! and eat something, fainting in the middle of the ceremony or passing out during the reception will suck.

hugs and congrats from me and my crew in tampa

eat something please! i dont think anyone really wants to find out that you passed out under a table after only a couple of shots..lmao
have a great day sweets!

HoBiscuit and I are cheering for your happy day. Congratulations and best wishes from the both of us. And HoBiscuit really, really wants that wedding cake topper from a few posts down for our cake.

Wishing the two of you a lifetime of joy... Enjoy your day, and happy birthday!! :D

Reports have it that I was more the nervous wreck than the Empress was. I think I slept for five minutes.

Congratulations, Michele - and happy birthday!

your day will be great! enjoy yourselves and have fun!

Congrats on your wedding, and a very happy birthday!

Best wishes for a wonderful day!

Happy birthday, and all the best to you & Justin!!

Congratulations. Enjoy the day and don't let anyone ruin it for you. Anyone.

Oh, and all sane people blogs on their wedding day. Or, if they don't, they should.

congrats babe!

I'd wish you good luck, but it looks like you're already having it. Happy Birthday and congratulations to you and Justin.

Congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy life together!

Wait... I thought I was the greatest guy in the world.

Just goes to prove you can't trust everything your mother tells you.

Happy Birthday, Michele! How were you planning to celebrate the big day? ;)

Congratulations. Have an absolutely wonderful wedding. Happiest of birthdays. cheers

congrats sweetie and happy birthday

This post did not come from the same beautiful woman who was so kind as to share with me her tale of first meeting Justin and finding everlasting love after throwing up. The Michele I barely know but think I do is not the Michele that wrote this post. Oh no. The Michele I am assuming I know is a woman that will have the foresight to ask her friends to pull back her hair as she vomits, to don the bridal gown she may never, ever, wear again (depending upon property laws and that whole Black Widow trait you seem to possess), look herself in the mirror and say “I DO love this man, and God help me I love myself enough to let all our friends & family members know that we are but one of many couples in this world that proves love does triumph in the end.”

Honey, don’t you see? This is the end of a small victory. You two won something much, much larger. Revel in this.

And promise me you won’t go overboard on the rouge. There ain’t nuthin’ worse in this world than seeing a bride walk down the aisle and look like a two-bit hooker.

yippeeee! i'm doin' the happy-ratty dance today! just for y'all!

(hey! HEY! watch the tail! watch the ta-a-a-ail!!)

Happy birthday, sweetie! And all the best to you and your new husband as you embark on your new life together.

Congratulations! I'm 37, so the fact that you're getting married at 40 gives me hope. I did get married once before, and I wasn't nervous till I arrived at the house and got out of the car. All of a sudden my knees started wobbling as I teetered my way inside. I don't think I ate any breakfast either, mind you.

Anyhow, I wish the two of you a long and happy married life together..."as long as you both shall live." I think the fact that you are sensible enough to blog on your wedding day speaks for itself.

All the best!

I hope it was a happy day. (o:

Michele!! I wasn't near a computer today to check on you--I wish you both a very happy birthday, and the beginning of a great adventure.

I was stuck in a broken down car on the freeway right at noon, so I didn't mentally get to toast you until about 1pm--hope it worked.

i was horribly neglectful in not raising a glass to you on your wedding hour -- however i was on the road in the desert.

there were two weddings at blogcon this weekend, it was a very marryin' weekend. sniffle all the best to you and Justin.

Happy Birthday! Happy Wedding Day! Hope all went well - I've been thinking of you all day long!

my first time here. found you via Christine. congratulations on your big day! i will definitely be back to see those pictures.

What more can anyone say other than Congratulations and may you both continue to be happy together for ever and ever :-)

here's to wedded bliss!

happy marriedness!

Here's a quick toast to the bride & groom...

May all of your ups's and downs... be under the covers.

Congratulations, Miss I'm-So-Lame-I-Blog-On-My-Wedding-Day. I hope you four have a wonderful, fulfilling life together.

congratulations, darling.
