What about Father Christmas by The Kinks?

Oops, thought that was on the first list. It's definitely included.

The Pogues song is not "Christmas In The Drunk Tank," it's "Fairytale Of New York". And it's the fucking best song ever. And it's actually The Pogues with Kirsty MacColl.

It was listed several times under both names, so I just went with the one that sounded better. Thanks for the info.

I used to play "Christmastime for my penis" every year on my old radio show. . .*sniff*

Hurrah for Father Christmas by the Kinks! :D

That’s a great list. Chris is absolutely right about the Pogues’ song title [and that it rawks].

Merry Fucking Christmas was on my Christmas burn CD last year. snort At the very end, after Bing Crosby and Elvis... then BAM! We were out at my mom's playing cards, relaxing to the music, and my mom about fainted dead away - it was the funniest thing I think I've ever seen.

Saw you had the Vandals -- don't forget "Oi to the World". (No Doubt did a really good cover of that, too.) Tori Amos does great versions of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and "Little Drummer Boy", too -- and don't forget "Christmas in Hollis" by Run DMC and "Merry Christmas (I Don't Want...)" by the Ramones!

That's what I get for reading newest-to-oldest instead of vice-versa. D'oh! Please ignore the blonde...

Oh, I forgot. I always liked Weird Al's Christmas At Ground Zero.

I've got a ton of alternitive Christmas tunes . . . I'll put some up on the site.

those are great christmas songs - especially ben folds - lonely christmas eve and fountains of wayne - i wanna alien for christmas, but have you heard eve 6 - first noel? that song is great.

Where's the wank? You need some Darkness "Christmas Time (Don't Let the Bells End)" and some Halford "Christmas Ride"... then you're truly rockin'! And for som laughs... maybe som Eazy-E "Merry Muthafuckin' Christmas!"
